I have no friends

why is it so hard to find friends that actively wanna play with me and play games that I play.
None of my friends play games with me and when they do its rlly boring or im playing games they wanna play that I dont like.

You will find friends. Just remember, there are people who say they're your friends, but couldn't give a flying rat about you in real time. And, then there are those who are not psychotic rat throwers. You just have to take your time to find out which are who.

Steam is the worst place to make friends. Don't bother. Just make some friends in real life and be happy. Not everything is about video games.

I actually hate people like you, people who have the nerves to say "just make IRL friends" 1 thats not what im looking for 2 I have no places to go and 3 I just prefer being online. If you actively act like this then stop nobodies gonna appreciate that.

needy? not really, have no friends? yep I dont I have 3 that are actively online, all of them dont talk to me often.

There's many places to look for friends :) "Search for friends" is a group that is for that, disscusions are a good way too, also there's good old playing multiplayer games and making friends through that. Discord is a good place to make friends too :)

He isn't wrong. Most gamers will attach themselves to a specific gaming community eventually lose interest and delete their entire friendslist and start again. Sure, not everybody will do this, but if a player moves onto a new game and you stay behind on the old one, chances are you will 1. be removed further down the line. 2. Rarely speak and 3. I had online friendships break down suddenly in the past. Some just disappeared from Steam never to be seen or heard from again. With others we drifted apart, gaming habits changed and what not, we never spoke so they or you just remove one another at some point. I even had one online friend where we typed for years, watched movies, animes, shows together, played the same game, spoke for what felt like 10+ hours at times in Steam chat and one day I was just removed and blocked. We both have mental problems so maybe he just gave up and decided that he wanted to suffer alone. I sort of get it now, because I feel the same way. Anyway, that's a totally different subject.

Point being the vast majority of online friends are not equipped to be proper friends.

I cant find any new games to play that im into, ive tried playing new things but none of them are GOOD

there is the steam friend train you can try. another place you can try to look is the games you play forums. Just take into consideration that people wont always play the game when you want to play it
