False Reported, told to talk to an "Alden Kroll" on Discord. Help!!!
My account has been false reported (item dupes, for a perma ban), and so i was told to talk to an Alden Kroll on discord (can confirm that there is an Alden Kroll at valve)


Need answers quick.

Note. Steam or just about any company worth it's salt WILL NEVER contact you through a 3rd party and then tell you to join a discord. Also anyone can make their name on discord/steam whatever they want, does not make it the real deal.

LOL imagine a Valve employee using another service to contact a Steam user about a Steam issue (if it was legit which it isnt its a scam)

my god thank you so much. i was so confused why he needed my login credentials to spy on my account. if i could give you my family's life savings i would!

Do you really need to ask?

You're on DISCORD. Do you think a company would go to another platform to ask for account details?

Have you never been taught not too give out account details to people?

All official Communication from Steam is always delivered through the Steam client. Never through chat, profile or community comments and absolutely NOT through other software like Discord or Skype.

Report any account doing this. I'm sure the real Alden might have a fun time actually locking down the impersonating account.

I remember seeing a thread ages ago where a user gave all his credentials away to a gmail account called something like 'mrsteamsupportervalveofficial'

It was painful to see.

this is alden.

he will never talk to you, he does no Steam support, for that they have 1000+ people that are not even really working at Valve and are mostly unknown.

no one at Valve that is publicly known to work for them will ever contact you personally and if Steam support wants to have a chat, they will suspend your account with the notice to contact Steam support.
the ticket system is the only way to interact with Steam support.
