Dota 2

"Report submitted: Thank you for helping to improve the Dota 2 community." is just mockery. Steam isn´t doing anything that *really* helps to reduce trolls ingame.
Last game a dude just died. And died and died. 0-29 or something like that. I stopped paying for dota plus. I am annoyed and don´t have the feeling that Steam is doing anything to really reduce trolls. These guys steal my leasure time and Steam should be serious about keeping Dota somewhat of fun. But I know. This is Dota and no one gives a ... - you know.

Are you somehow expecting reports to be acted upon in real time? Is that even a reasonable expectation?

The reports are acted upon as they are reviewed

Play with friends instead of random?

Don't expect steam to fix humanity, because Humanity is at fault here.

Just because you don't see immediate action doesn't mean it doesn't happen. Most of these things get handled behind the scenes, where they belong. But Steam is actively working on rooting out cheaters, it just takes time because there are a lot of them out there and to make it even worse there's also lots of new ones joining every day.

Some people are really bad at video games.

MOBA players seem to rage at the drop of a hat. The vast majority seem to be tryhards.

Stop playing with randoms.

Ill be honest, Ive played only a few hours of any MOBAs, I dont like them.

But I have been VERY tempted to amuse myself by doing exactly what the OP is complaining about. I dont even need to play bad, but for my own amusement.

People like him make it way too tempting and easy.

It´s okay to have fun. It´s okay to amuse yourself by herassing other player. But as you´ve said, you've only played a few hours. And, since you play for yourself and I play to win and, presuming matchmaking works, we should never match actually. You've just brought the proof, that matchmaking is broken. And I don´t want to pay for playing with you. In fact, none of you guys who want to play to win, should pay to Steam if they don´t fix this. At least, they should give a statement on this by telling us how they are fixing or going to fix this. This would bring back real trust. And me back as a paying player.

What AmsterdamHeavy is telling you, is that Trolls are nourished from people who take the game and trolls too serious. Don‘t feed them and they go away.
