Can anyone confirm if Philippine Steam Wallet Codes can be redeemed in Canada?
There's a sale on a game my friend from Canada wants but since we live in different countries I can't gift it to them directly so I was wondering if I could just gift them a Steam Wallet Code instead. Just wondering if purchasing a code in PHP since that's what's available here would be redeemable for them?

I'm trying to send them the money before the sale ends which is on Oct. 14th so would appreciate any quick confirmations from anyone!

Depends where it's bought from. I remember E-Club Store specifically saying their Philippine codes only work in the Philippines.

I'd ask the retailer.

your country belongs to the note. so it is possible that it might not work.

Yeah, I was hunting around for any discussions with similar predicaments and I saw the notation for Southeast Asia. I just HAD to be my region lol.

I've looked at E-Club and they seem to be the only reseller of UDS codes that are confirmed as global. Online purchasing is just hard for me to do right now so if I could buy the physical cards in a retailer store it'd be a lot faster. I'd have to check 7-Eleven since I haven't researched their stock yet though so thanks for that.

nope. wallet codes/cards are globally redeemable, besides that south east asia thing.

No.
Just like any of the other posts in this three year old thread already pointed out, it wasn't even possible before the currency restrictions.
