Hacked Steam Wallet Codes?
Hi i was wondering what kind of precautions and measures does Valve has against users who uses those "Steam wallet code generators". Do they give the users after they found out that the funds were legitimate a ban? Or do they not care about it?

None that have been proven to work anyway. Valve keeps a catalog of all generated wallet codes

Any attempot to activate a code they haven't generated, will fail.

Just like wuddih said there are none, they seem legit to get <person> to download it and install a keylogger or something eles on your computer.

For example, if someone steals a steam wallet code from a retail shop, that person won't be able to redeem it because Steam must first activate the code in their database. Which, of course, happens only after the payment goes through.

I think he's talking more about the ones that pop up on YT every week/months.

I know. I'm just pointing out that you can't add "ilegitimate funds" via Steam Wallet cards.

Did someone try to add steam wallet funds through cheat engine again?

The precaution is pretty basic. Wallet codes are inactive and can't be used until they have been purchased at a retail store (which triggers activation within about 24 hours). So any attempt to add a code at random will fail unless:
1. Someone has purchased that exact code and it has been activated
2. They have yet to redeem it themselves

Even should someone manage to stumble on such a code (which is mathematically unlikely) if you go back to your place of purchase you can have them give you a new code and invalidate the old one (removing those funds and whatever was purchased with them on Steam).
