is discord good and safe to download for mac?

steam client voice chat is p2p, NEVER use it with random people you dont know.

Discord is like any outher "open" program, Use at your own risk.
Dispite what the well meaning people here say, There is ALLWAYS a risk.
NOTHING on the internet is really secure.

Its safe as much as anything else that consider safe
I mean anything on the net can be danger
But of that Discord is pretty safe

Not sure what you mean by "safe". It's not malware or something, so yes, it's "safe to use".

Is it good?
Well, it worked quite well for me and is rather easy to use, so i'd say yes it is a good and free alternative to Teamspeak.
