12:00 AM is midnight, or the middle of the night.
12 noon is neither a.m. nor p.m.
To avoid confusion, the correct designation for 12 o'clock is 12 noon or 12 midnight. Alternatively, the 24-hour clock system may be used.

and even then, the sale ended before the time listed, it was 10am EST may 19th when I went to make the purchase to find the sale ended.
start of the day 12:01 a.m.
there is no 12am/pm
end of the day 11:59 p.m.
for japan, the very less people that dont use 24 hour clocks already do:
start of the day 0:00 a.m.
middle of the day 12:00 a.m.
end of the day 12:00 p.m.
That has been universal for a long time.
You missed the sale. We all miss sales now and then. Most don't trying to pointlessly argue that it is someone else's fault that they didn't pay attention to the time.
