Seperate soundtrack downloads from game downloads

Now that the music player is official they should allow developers to split soundtrack downloads away from the game itself. This would allow those of us who don't want the soundtrack to save the extra hdd space (the used space adds up fast) and allow others to download the soundtrack from games they like the music from without having the game installed. The download of the soundtracks would be in new music category of the library.

I personally only listen to game music inside the game they are in, i never listen to them out of the game, having the ability to opt out of downloading them would be a great feature for me as it would save up to a gig or more of space and even the extra little bandwidth that would be used to download them.

As a semi related suggestion to this, i would like if all game bonuses would be split from actual game downloads. Things like art books, wallpapers, printable stuff and all the other semi useless fluff packed in with most games that most of us never look at or use that is not part of the actual games.

I would also love to be able to download the soundtrack of a game without having to download the game itself. It would save space on my laptop (in which I can't play such games).

I don't know about you, but 279131 is the English comicbook.

View CD Key does have some key for Thief's soundtrack; unsure of how to inject that to the console.

And it worked? It didn't for me (at least with Soundtrack -key). The site worked though (and I dug that up from the gamehubs); ensure there's no spaces in the start or the end.

Odd, I got the impression the files aren't uploaded to Steam, but only the license for the sake of acquiring the CD-key to use the third party site for it.

I think some Bonus content is stored under Library > Tools. Deus Ex: Human Revolution Augmented Edition's soundtrack might've actually been stored there too. I wonder why that's not a norm.

EDIT: I do definitely see Witcher 2 Bonus Content under Library > Tools, for example.

Thief's example above I believe is due to the fact the files aren't uploaded to Steam in the first place, but are only given for the key's sake.
