Early Access Icon for the steam store
As mentioned, EA marker (blue box) next to EA titles, so its easier to see which titles are in EA without clicking on them. Either how steam deck verified might be like or something like that.

I don't see why not, for those that want to avoid it, or even have interest in it, suppose it would make sense.

They could also do a ribbon similar to how they do "DLC" where it says "EAG"

The extension Augmented Steam does this in browser in the same way DLC is shown. Like many things that extension does, it would be a good addition to the client.

That would be nice.

Along with the option to filter them out as well, as I stopped buying Early Access games long ago.

I know the wish list has such a banner for Early Access games.

+1 I can think of zero reasons not to do this
Oh yeah this could work the same way as as DLCs and soundtracks do right now.

Enhanced Steam(discontinued partly because core features were already natively in Steam), now Augmented Steam displays an Early Access ribbon as indicated in another comment.

https://store.steampowered.com/account/preferences/
it has a global switch for Early Access.
and it is also a usable exclusion tag, which is not as suppressing as the global switch.

Early Access does have a somewhat irrational projected negative connotation. so this may discourage people from even clicking on it. as so it may have discouraged Valve from implementing it the past 8-9 years. since when ES/AS had it as a feature.

Wanting to buy a game that can at least reasonably be considered finished is not any more "irrational" than wanting to buy a game that doesn't have DLC or wanting to buy a game that doesn't involve a subscription.

There is an option to remove them from the store though in your preferences

Include the following types of products in my store:

Show Early Access titles

Yep.

Though, it'd be nice to have the banner anyway for people who don't just want them gone but just want them more clearly labeled.
