Search Owned Games by Tag

Especially if you have a larger library of games, it would be nice to be able to type into the search bar a tag and it pull up games with that tag.

So example, if someone felt like playing a puzzle game, they could search "puzzle" and it would pull up games in their library with the "puzzle" tag in the store.

The way it is right now, you have to know the title of a game you are looking for to type it into search.

Categories have to be set manually. The tags are already deposited in the store. The idea is not so bad.

I have >1200 games, applying 5000+ tags would take days and would result in some god awful unholy mess, I've tagged a few games and already it looks bad / chaotic.

the client needs an overhaul to support something like this automatically, Valve said they are working on something that should be done this year. maybe that includes that.

Thanks man, I came here for suggesting the same. Would be perfect, for example some friends come over and you want to play some local coop couch action. It would be awesome if you just could search the library for the local coop tag.
I have built a hotseat category by myself but it was hard work and took long.
And yes, the whole Client definitively needs an overhaul. Hope this will come

I didn't know about the categories thing honestly, but as some have already said: That has to be done manually and even if you own just 50 games, that's a very time consuming process to label each game in categories.

Small edit: Also, I did try to look to see if this was suggested already but after the first 20 pages and not seeing anything like it, I decided to go ahead and suggest it.
