Changing the color of your name is a horrible idea as it just opens up the ability to use for more scamming attempts. We should just keep the ones we have now and leave it.
As if it sounds like RGB bragging and gloating.
To elaborate further:
So I would vote no.
Unless the animated avatars are set to only display the first frame by default and users are allowed to opt in to display the full animation.
But different-colored names, just no.
Also, if and when Discord accounts and inventories become valuable, expect such features to disappear there.
its your opinion only.
i love the things suggested here.
Not only that you could understand a bit more if you bothered to read those that already posted here. Not one except you likes them...
a lot of people love it.
I disagree. There are no standards for such a platform and never will be. No platform will have every aspect that every users wants as they will always be at odds with each other over what features should and should not be on it, as this thread proves.
Valve is actually ahead though as they treat all users equally, regardless of money spent on the platform. So if such features were added, Valve would do so at no charge, not by charging a fee for something that should be free to begin with.
I disagree with you. The facts are in the numbers and Steam is falling behind in terms of revenue. Devs are cutting deals with other comms companies because users are moving to those platforms for a reason.
Also, don't put Valve ahead of making a paid service for increased profile customization, they have no high road to take here.
Sources?
I know there aren't any.
Thanks I try to respond to everyone who responds to me thank you for taking the time to make this post
