Allow you to hide your contact email from the account settings.
So if your logged on and you click the top left and settings the first thing you see is your acount name and contact email, If someone were to get controll of a steam acount they now have the details of the email putting the email in risk if the person uses the same pasword as their steam acount.

Considering they'd have to go through SteamGuard, they'd already know your email account when they get this far.

And if someone is so stupid to re-use a password, well, that's their problem and they deserve what happens.
yeah... if they get that far you've already lost. Also LOL password reuse

That is why you should not use the same password for any other accounts. It is a basic security rule.

I am guessing that you do, so I suggest that you change one of them to something else.

How are they gaining access to your account?

It is not easy without giving away the info.

But that requires users to manually click and input account info to get phished. Nothing is being bypassed. The user gave it all away.

The "I have physical access to your device" problem more or less negates pretty much evertyhing. If I already have that, guess what, you're probably already logged into your email. It would be trivial to find your email as I can again already see your browser history

Password protect your computer with a screensaver

I dont use the same pasword im just more worried about people getting scammed into letting scamers have controll over your computer since ive had scammers ask me to do teamviewer which isnt common that much but they still do it

Then you shouldn't let those have access to your computer. Problem solved.

That is still the fault of the user if they choose to do so.

Not playing multiplayer games like CS:GO, etc and not trading with people seems to be a good stragedy for staying safe on Steam.

Adding on top of that:

The most common way of compromising an account is reused credentials. And reusing credentials is (unfortunately) a really common mistake.

One can always check if your email has been found on any other service data leak. If you happen to have the password on one of those leaked sites on some other service that account is in serious jeopardy.

Staying away from 'Get Free Stuff' Steam Groups and websites is a far better way to stay away from the chance of an attack.
I play CSGO and have done my fair part of trading and I've been targeted by scammers like twice or three times in a decade.

There's no bypassing the email/mobile requirement. If you downloaded malware, then they already have all your information.
