Steam Achievements: Booster Packs

I have one problem with the steam achievements. There is no real reason to play a game until 100%.

So why don't we give someone, who achieves 100%, an extra booster pack of this game. Then the reason would be to complete the game badge with the extra pack.

Now you get booster packs just by starting steam almost every day - so for nothing

So, more reason for people to use SAM to unlock achievements?

nothing of monetary value will ever bound to achievements. we have already experienced that mistake.

shovel money at steam, then you also get more booster packs, simple as that.

if you want booster packs given out by completing achievements, talk to the game developers. They are the ones that need to make that decision.

That's your issue. and yours alone. Achgievements are for those who seek challenges or who are curious enough to test themselves

no, they dont. devs have no influence on booster packs and can not manually drop any economy item that is under the control of Steam, that includes the games trading cards, backgrounds and emoticons. the only thing they can change is the timer for a card drop. that is everything.

There are enough cheaters already, no need to reward them.

The game is supposed to be the reason itself, not just a means to another end.

Achievements are there to give you something extra in a game to do, as long as achievement cheat programs are around nothing like that will drop from them.
