Which doesn't matter as the majority of the speaker will never be Steam customers.
That'S Valve's statistcs:

Take a look at Vietnam that got regional support recently. It has pretty much the same traffic as all Middle Eastern + Maghreb (excluding Israel, but INcluding Saudi Arabia and UAE aka Oil Sheikh territory).
You are simply not on the radar yet.
There is an Arabic Translation group, though I don't know how active they are in translating now:
https://steamcommunity.com/groups/arablang
But Steam also stated it'S not interested in adding further languages to the translation servers for now.

For translations... ~12:52

This should hopefully change in the future as they’re switching over Steam to be entirely web-tech based (the Chat system was switched over recently) which means Steam will be able to support Arabic in the future.
To be honest I kinda knew that 😊, But I tried to get our voice out about it so they know that we still here and need to be supported 💪. And that's why I mentioned it as a second thing in my main topic 😉.
Yeah I know that chat system become web based and can be opened through browsers now, And I hope they will continue switching other elements as you said, And Arabic become supported in the near future 🤞👏.
Okay. Let's say i will accept that as UI issue and they aren't looking into adding any further languages to STS at least for now.
But as you mentioned above, I saw it and I found that no reason anymore for not supporting EGP. Tom Giardino said " But where we've really seen things start to take off recently his territories like Middle East and Asia " so there is no point for not supporting currency like EGP especially because First they added ( Qatari Riyal, Kuwaiti Dinar, Saudi Riyal and U.A.E. Dirham ) in Nov 2017 and ( South African Rand ) I think in 2016, Second ( Egypt is the 1st in Africa, 3rd in the Middle East and the Arab world and 37th in the World in terms of games revenues ) as I mentioned in my main topic above while for example ( Qatar is the 4th in the Middle East and the Arab world and 50th in the World - Kuwait is the 6th in the Middle East and the Arab world and 58th in the World ) add to that the size of the market so for me there is no reason for not supporting it. On the contrary, lack of support leads to the loss of the market from a business perspective 😊😊.
About Arabic language it's okay. Let's say i will accept that as UI issue and they aren't looking into adding any further languages to STS at least for now. But for the EGP my comment will be the same as below.
They are always looking to add more every year. They usually do that around the Autumn sale in Nov. If not this year, maybe next year.
I/they never said they weren't going to.
Yeah, I know mate that you / they never said they weren't going to add it. I'm just tried to share my situation and my point of view 😉😊.
Necro'd a thread for this pointlessness
- Important for me and thousand other people :)
- You have enough control over yourself (I think) to not click or comment on a "pointless" discussion, nobody is forcing you to do so :)
discussing this really is pointless.
