And there's certain a valid argument to be had there. I'd just suggest not muddling that point with the argument whether they're the same or not, which is where it was going.

A more realistic request is then to ask for those types of games to be regionally banned in countries where such depictions aren't allowed. And then still that wouldn't be true for every one of the games including nudity but only the ones that could be confused for minors, at least for those specific rules. I'm not aware of a country that bans any type of cartoon nudity.

And still, that's assuming that nudity is included in the version that is sold, not available to be modded in with content elsewhere by the buyer themselves, that's their own choice to do so then.

It's considered a form of art, and doesn't fall under the same jurisdiction. Maybe in some backwards country/states it can be considered against the law? but in japan it's not. it's part of the culture this kind of thing, lol. steam distributes them just fine, and atleast one is fully uncensored (kindred spirits)
steam also allows certain AAA publishers to publish their X-rated patch publicly, like Circus: (Dal Segno), and muv-luv has x-rated patch too, etc.

In Sweden one seller got sentenced for child pornography for selling hentai or whatever.

But he got freed in the supreme court. But I guess it was close enough.

Then again Sweden is a backwards non-free ♥♥♥♥-hole country.

Where should freedom stop ? Why don't I have the freedom to sacrifice victims to the Elder Gods (not that I believe in them - they just provide a convenient justification for chaining people I don't like to an altar and slicing them up) ?

Freedom surely stops at the point where harm is caused to others and the association between those who look at indecent images and those that commit contact offences is so high that a ban is more than justified.

This. No such content is on Steam as it is not allowed on Steam. If you feel a game is violating this, then feel free to report it on the game's own page.
