If you used the search, you would have found this workaround as one of the many answers as to why it won't work.
if you would've thought otherwise about this, it would not be public.
scammers scan for possible victims with bots. doesn't matter if their profile is private or public, you would not be able to tell the difference between those bots and a normal user account. so this would change nothing, the scammer would still add you.
Not at all.
You should really use that search function. There are threads on that as well.
all you people do is come here and comment " use the search feature" on posts
yeah im ignoring u from now on
I was gonna say " Make autoblock all private profile friend invites a thing " but there's already a plugin iv been using and it blocked 458 private profile friend invites so far for me ...lol
Because it is something that has been discussed to death. It would answer all your questions if you did.
Why can that person comment in the thread but I cant? we both have public profiles.......
because you are not his friend, so you cant post....
It would also divide the community. Does it matter that a profile is private to you if the information they provide is accurate?
We have this system. It is called the report function. It exists on the posts and profiles of ALL users.
Use it.
If you are not willing to discuss the issue, but instead insult others for their privacy choices, then I'll just lock this up.
