Please add warnings for games that may cause epilepsy
Something like Epic did for Observation game

That is up to the developers. Some do put warnings into their games, like Beat Hazard where that warning is totally warranted.
https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/product/observation/home
which is pretty pointless
as the storepage itself can cause epilepsy and there is no way to stop the video that run in the title header.

the developer/publisher/owner of a product on Steam has near full-control of their store page.

Warning
This game contains flashing lights that may make it unsuitable for people with photosensitive epilepsy or other photosensitive conditions. Player discretion is advised.

Epilepsy warning: contains some surprising elements.

should be enough examples.

I agree that the storepage itself have flashing images but when it comes to epilepsy warnings in my opinion they should be verry visible and no just one line hidden in the game description
Every game can cause epilepsy. It's not only triggered by flashing or rapid changing lights, but can also be caused by flickering. For some a bad refresh rate can already trigger it. That's why every console game had this warning - because the TV was a factor.
In all honesty i think that people that suffer from photosensitive epilepsy should be entirely aware of the fact that things on screens in general pose a potential threat (some more, some less).
So doubt that more warnng signs and extra messages on storepages, intros and such will do anything to improve awareness.

I wonder tho if a tool like f.lux (supposed to reduce eye strain/ reduce blue light) could be used to kinda tone down certain effects in order to reduce risks of epileptic seizures.
Basicly an app that prevents high rate flicker, stroboscopic brightness changes etc..
That could be a useful addition that would allow people to experience games they otherwise would have to avoid.

^This.

Mainly because a lot of games can problem for people that suffer from photosensitive epilepsy, TBH gaming in general there's a good chance you encounter issues. If you really want the best chance to avoid these issues, do one, or both of the following.

A. Contact the game Devs / Pubs, and ask them questions if they have flashing lights problems in their games.

B. Ask in the game community forum for help to answer your questions.
I remember the days of yore when such a warning was pretty much a standard thing every time you ran a new game.

Or maybe just in games I ran.

No, it was basically all games. The combination of the framerates and the 480i of CRT TVs was the reason.

It really should be a Tag option. Sometimes I can't get through the page because there's a livestream (which moves to my bottom corner when I scroll), so something that's easily to locate, as well as in the same spot for each game would be SO HELPFUL.

Well, having had my first tonic-clonic in my late 20s and then finding doctors had forgotten to tell me I had partial epilepsy from at least the age of 16 (and now in my mid-30s), I will say that while I haven't _specifically_ had a photosensitive seizure, I do get _very_ disoriented/dizzy from strobe (or similar) effects.

I would love if Steam would allow us to Tag games that contain Photosensitivity warnings at the startup. It would save more than a handful of us time and money (and keep us a little bit safer, because some people leave the room while the game loads); but it would also save Steam the Customer Support time spent issuing refunds to those of us who may have missed the warnings [if they were on the Game Description page]. Plus, some of us get codes from buying bundles, and checking the Tags is the quickest way to find the basic breakdown.
We obviously need such tag and I would prefer obligatory icon like VR/OS for games with contrast flashing lights/colours and else. We need Motion Sickness user tag too for I often see posts about it.

Tags are created, applied and maintained by users. Go ahead, start tagging games with this warning.

Good point. User-created tags would get lost in the list because of the low number of people (especially since they can't play the game!), but an Icon would be MUCH more useful. I plan on advocating for something along these lines - and maybe even the option to turn off strobe/flashing effects (for TV as well).
