like inventory helper and the like.
Can convert hundreds of items at a time and it even shows value so you don't accidentally convert higher value items.
What do you think of this article ?

Do we need to mention that 'Valve' is silent on this software 'Inventory Helper' as a Chrome extension?
Two/Three replies in this thread - from 'private profiles',
One/Three reply '13 years' in Steam - but little else to support credibility.
Two/three replies suggest to use an unendorsed Chrome extension - but does Steam authentification guard againsts this? How should I know? Steam won't say...
Sir "99repeat" you cleary have lots of experience in the Steamverse, but to belittle security
concerns and account thefts simply undermines your credibility. What I am looking for is an
officially endorsed addition to functionality in the Steam client software. Let me say that my
request is reasonable; if someone can make a 'free' Chrome 'add on' then certainly this
functionality is within the capacity of the 'Steamverse' programmers. Gaben is not shy to say
that Valve has hired 'la crème de la crème' so we expect them to rise to the occasion not
coagulate at the bottom and block the (inventory) drain.

Whether you choose to use additional extensions is up to you. Steam Inventory Helper has 4.5 stars out of 5000+ reviews in Chrome. They also have a group here with 123,000+ members.

If it was being used nefariously then there would be a massive uproar throughout the Steam/pc gamer community. Of course, use of such third-party tools is still at your own risk.
LOL.... Look at every webpage and figure out if you are going to be 'Sideloaded'
LOL.... Look at every program, reverse compile and figure out 'Maliciousness'
LOL.... 'The cheque is in the mail' or 'I promise not to コメ イン ウー マウー'
I code. You code. My virus is your virus.
Don't waste time you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that are lying. Liars, all of you.
People here are just trying to help you. If you have a problem with that then I assume that your Google isn't broken so instead of throwing around insults and childish names try Googling it yourself.
Click the item
Click Turn Into Gems (often have to click more than once)
Click OK (often more than once)
Click or ESC to close the stupid congratulatory message
Wait for inventory to refresh (sometimes as long as 5-10 seconds)
Repeat each step possibly thousands of times.
It can't be good for Valve's apparently delicate server load balancing, because of how many times the entire inventory gets refreshed. Extremely poor design.
The situation today, so far as I have found:
Steam Inventory Helper is considered to be an untrustworthy, hijacked project.
Enhanced Steam does not provide this functionality.
Gemify.js appears to have been broken for about 2-3 years.
Frankly, I don't even want to hear about browser extensions, or any 3rd party mumbo jumbo- especially Javascript console voodoo. There is no good excuse for this functionality to be absent from the default Steam interface in 2018. It is Valve's own laziness that is the problem. How many years ago did they push Gems upon us and it still feels like a hacked together beta feature.
I'm surprised they don't make us use 3-stage authentication to collect each individual gem, for maximum customer punishment.
