Let friends compare libraries so we KNOW which games we have that we can play easily....

Right now I need to walk through my library with my friends in voice chat to find games that we both have that we both could play together. Perhaps, as a part of this, Valve could add in a way of showing games with the COOP tag in your library? Right now I need to go to the store and search for the COOP tag there. Then I need to go through _that_ list with my friend to see which games he and I share. You do want us playing together Valve, right?

Hi. When you go to your friend library you can check option that says something like "Filter games you both have" and then you can press CTRL + F to search that game to see if you both have that Coop game. Hope it helps.

Thanks! I had no idea that was there. So let's edit my suggestion to make this feature more focused on WHY you'd want to know if a friend has a game or not. To play that game with them. Therefore:

UPDATED SUGGESTION - Add into the options when you click on your friends icon (or a column within the Games Library) to see the games that have a COOP mode to enhance people getting together and playing games together. Following the advice of Lux99 (see above) is great if I'd like to know which games they have in case I want to get them a gift or something. But being able to identify which games my friends have that I can play with them would be advantageous. Thanks!
