how to complete your steam registeration ?

today i got an email say: Unfortunately your registration at Steam Users' Forums did not meet our membership requirements. All new forum accounts must be linked with a Steam account within seven days of creation, or the account will be deleted.

i dont understand, what is it ask me to do ?

You have to validate that via email

Sounds like you have to do the process all over again but with a new account name and POSSIBLY another email address....

@ The Giving One No, it looks like steam users forums are the old forums that some people still use? It isn't these forums, which the OP is obviously able to use. I am kinda confused actually.

Anyway, those other forums say:
"If this is your first visit, be sure to check out the Forums Rules and Guidelines. You must register before you can post: click the register link above to proceed. NOTE: Forum accounts are separate from Steam accounts."

thank you ganmerlad...I take it personally very serious that I will try to never give bad advice here so that is why I posted that...To the OP, if you figure this out or need more help, please reply so we can learn from this also...

that are the old forums, use steamcommunity discussion boards whenever you can, the old forums are merely an archive.

Does it has anything to do with my requirement to use trade market ? because i have been waiting to complete 30 days of waiting to use trade market

no, again, that are the old forums, deprecated, archive or whatever you wanna call it, they are still a bit used, but nothing compareable to the activity here, would be senseless if they would be the requirement for anything,
the community market involves money for item, therefore trading is not an option there. if you wanna trade item for item, every game has a trading board here over the games community hub and there are several 3rd party websites which you can use to find people to trade with.
