You are right about Wells Fargo here but not Steam. Why did you have to charge your card multiple times as you said in the first sentence here ?
"a day before i opened a claim for fraudulant business" in your online banking stuff?

then it is no wonder that everything went to poop.

stuff that is shown on steam as failed transaction, need 3-5 working days to be back.

Actually you kind of have it backwards. The bank had your funds on hold. By issuing a chargeback that is a form of payment fraud which Steam automatically suspends your account for.
I recently heard all the dirt on Wells Fargo bank. They are a horrible bank, according to what information I gathered. And like Let Girls Learn said here, the bank was a problem and then you made it worse.

I didnt know that i had to wait so long, regardless i lost 100$ to one of these companies.
You know why i didnt know? Because their support is garbage and took days for a simple automated reply, then another 2 days pass then they give me that information. It was too late i already had a claim up

@thegivingone made some 20$, 5$ charges, decided i wanted 100$'s. Then i decided i wanted another 100$'s but the second one is where it went all down hill.

Might be somewhat my fault due to me being horrible at waiting 1-2 weeks to recieve money thats mine. But thats no excuse for two huge companies to be so weak in customer service and result in me closing my bank account because i no longer trust people with my money. And i speak for myself when i say, not one penny will be going to steam again EVER. Not that my money matters to steam but i was puttin in 100-300$ a month to this "awesome" known gaming company
How am i fraudulant? I recieved 0 goods (steam wallet money) for the 100$'s that was taken out of my own pocket?

I would rather you call wells fargo a fraud than me. I am the victim here.
Since you closed the account, I would assume that makes it harder to sort this out and maybe get your money back.

I edited my post above...I should not have posted what I did as I was a little rude perhaps. Sorry about that.

Have to step in and say wells fargo is not a horrible bank.. I had a washed check take 3K out of account had it back within 12 hrs.
So let me see if I've got this straight.

You made a payment to Steam via your Bank, and Steam rejected the money, and the Bank put a hold on it leaving your account with a pending $100 transaction (that for your reference would eventually have returned to your account). At this point you are down $100 and have a pending transaction which when cancelled will restore that.

After opening a ticket with support Steam was nice enough to credit you $100 immediately (even though they don't have to) while they investigated. You are now flat but still have a $100 pending transaction which once reverted will give you positive $100.

About 10 days after you made the initial transaction the pending transaction would have been reverted, at which point you are now up $100 which was the money Steam gave you while they investigated.

After a month Steam has finished the investigation and determined that the money has returned to your account, at which point they recoup the $100 they gave you (to cover the amount you were out while they investigated) at this point you are completely flat financially with Steam.

And you have the nerve to come on here and say that Steam (who acted well above what they are required to do in such situations, and took no money that wasn't theirs at any time during this process) acted fraudulently?
Closed the account because i sat there for a hour talking to a banker. I told him straight up. Am i getting the money back or not. He replied after sighing. "No you wont, i suggest you open a new account so the company doesnt have your card info."

@Darren
According to the bank, the bank fronted me 100$'s, then took it back as a result of it cant be considered a fraud because steam has had me purchased goods before so it looks like i authoriZed it. As far as i know its either Wells Fargo's or Steams flaw.

Well then to be fair maybe you should edit your title post.

Maybe delete it completely.. its BS
They gave you bad advice. I am betting the banker either gets a bonus for opening new accounts or simply did it to not have t deal with it.

Once all the transactions (both pending/failed or held) were processed and finalized it would of been easy to straighten out. It would require a week for the transactions then a ticket to Steam support which is unfortunately the long part as they are notoriously slow.

Everything can still probably be straightened out once the payments have been settled if the account closure is not a deal breaker though it may take a lot longer than anyone would like. Your steam account may only be temporarily suspended depending on what your support warning message said.
you charging your card multiple times $100 was your problem. most, all, banks have fraud prevention systems and try and protect your account if they suspect fraud - they would indeed put the funds on hold.
instead of trying to sort it out you waited 3 days and opened a claim for fraudulent business and then closed your account.

this is between you and your now ex bank.
