Need help. game appears zoomed in whenever i play

I was playing DayZ on my toshiba with windows 8 and accidentally pressed the FN and Spacebar keys at the same time and my game and desktop zoomed in.

I managed to fix my desktop back to normal but whenever i go on DayZ it only displays zoomed in.

Ive tryed ingame settings options and that doesnt work.

If anyone knows how to fix this id be very grateful.

Try playing another game and see if it behaves the same way. That way we could determine if it is game-specific.

Ive just tryed Gmod its only on DayZ this happens

What happens when you try to change the resolution in DayZ? Does it not give you the option, or does it just refuse when you hit apply?

it changes but the game still appears zoomed

I dont know alot to do with computers but its 1366x768 if that made any sense

Is that what you are setting it to in the DayZ settings? If you try to push it past this resolution, it will not cooperate. You have to set DayZ to be 1366x768.

The thing is i did this but it still was zoomed covering my screen

The FN and space keys did this to my computer whenn i was on this game and now its just stuck zoomed :(

If you hit Fn+Space again (while in-game), does it do anything (i.e. revert back to the previous level of zoom)?

I don't own DayZ so this may not be accurate, but try exiting DayZ and browse to "My Documents\Dayz\". Do you have a file called Dayz.cfg? See what happens when you move that file out of that folder (i.e. temporarily stick it on your desktop) and launch DayZ. See if your video settings reset. If it doesn't work stick the cfg file back in to the folder it came from.

I think i might try uninstall the game all together and redownload it
