How to unlock my family members restricted accounts without them spending money ? (I gift them all)

Hello,

I have a question about the restricted accounts, I have two family members living with me who do not have a mastercard/paypal, ...

I buy there game's with my account and gift them to them, they have both CS GO and Depth (totaling both more than the 5 dollar purchase needed to remove the restrictions from there accounts. (mainly because its anoying as hell they cant invite each other to play together)

I will NOT allow them to use my credit card on there computer or even on there accounts (for security reasons)

is there any way I can unlock there restrictions ? can someone at steam manualy remove them ? (seeing as they clearly have games worth more than 5 dollar on there accounts ?)


please let me know because this is anoying as hell, I want to keep all monetary transactions as safe and limited as possible, and this would force me to use my card on 2 extra accounts :(

they have to spend $5 themselves on their account, simple as that.

The users have to add $5 to their own account or spend that amount or more themselves in the Steam Store. They can buy wallet codes from retailers if they don't have a verified payment method of their own http://steamcommunity.com/discussions/forum/1/617329505860738922/

Aside from the above, even if you do use your card on their accounts, you can remove the card (or choose not to have it saved) after the purchase is made.

It also adds a layer of security as Valve can ask for the card numbers to verify ownership of the account if it is ever hijacked.

Buy small amount of steam wallet.

You should buy steam wallet cards in a store for at least one of them and then one can send a friend request to another.
