Anyone here use Pinger?

I've got it setup on my Android phone and I can text friends, but when I put in my number into a Steam account I never get a text from Steam containing the SMS code. Anyone got a solution? I've tried google but got nowhere.

I have that on my phone too. But that's not my problem. I can't link my Pinger number to an alt Steam account I'm testing. Yes Steam popups saying this is a temporary number and do you want to proceed anyway. I click yes. But no text from them.

Buy a second phone if you need to test something out.

What are you talking about? Pinger is obviously working because I can send and receive texts from my friend.

I'd say wait at least an hour. Sometimes things take a while unfortunately, even if automated (I assume it is?).

i don't know how pinger works, google voice should work.

i waited about 1 1/2 hours when i setup 2 factor when it got in beta, so try to give it a bit more time. especially with such relay services.
