So do this.
Post a review with a single character or word in. Then edit it and post your proper review instead.
there is a bug if you try to write it from the store page.
post something short, edit the longer version in.
dunno if this also happens if you make one from the library.
Levels don't matter.
Because the facility is based on what people are likely to USE.
I've been a professional writer (freelance) for video games magazines in the past. We would typically get paid at a rate of £x per 600 words.
That metric isn't just coincidental. it's because it's a widely used block or metric that magazines could print to encompass a subject and what people are likely to read.
So the 2,000 character limit isn't difficult to understand. Because even an amateur writer can easily describe a FULL review well within 2,000 characters, and if they do go over then nobody is going to read it.
That's the ultimate point here. If you go over, it's a YOU problem and you should learn to edit better.
Go look at my most favourable review on here I wrote for Recettear (it's linked on my profile). I went into detail on that one and plenty of people have commented how they got EXACTLY what I meant when they bought it. And it's under the character limit despite being very detailed.
