debit is same as credit
just choose whether its visa or mastercard
for example my debit card is a mastercard it is debit only not credit
whether the card is credit or debit it still connects to visa, mastercard, etc
Literally, if you can use a credit card, you should also be able to use a debit card, unless your bank or credit union or steam itself for some bizarre reason is blocking purchases. My advice if you're having problems, check with your bank or credit union first. Nine times out of ten, it's an overzealous "security" program blocking purchases from websites you don't use often that has to be manually flagged for approval.
What country are you from and what debit card (bank) are you trying to use?
As you mentioned, maybe OP should tell us the exact message they are seeing or what they are reading so we can be sure what the issue is.
i myself got a debit card and i need to contact my bank to allowed my debit card to make online purchases.
And don't hijack old posts please.
If your credit card has been declined then you MUST contact the credit card company - the problem is on their end and Valve CANNOT tell you anything.
You mean CVV? Please explain.
It would have taken you 3 seconds to google it. Mastercard.
Likely you don't even have to google it because the logo is most likely already on your card.
