The reason is in the message you posted and has nothing to do with VPN.

I am using it more than 7 days and even if I list anything it starts counting all over again for every item

If the counter keeps resetting then that often means you either have some software clearing cookies and such or are not saving your details correctly.

Using a VPN MAY affect things or at least compound the issue, as it will see each new IP address as a new login source. So you may well be putting two problems together.

Well, there's zero reason to use the VPN unless you live in a country where your government's really extremist. Anyways, try it without and see how it goes. If it doesn't change you'll know it's something else.

Please note - "taslk the media ♥♥♥♥" is NOT what I'm saying at all. I never gave my opinion on it. I merely advised you of FACT. I don't agree with it or disagree with it.

That's how advice works.


You are free to use it for the purpose you do, but all I was doing was pointing out to be careful because if you use it in another way you'll break the rules and it's something you won't like discovering.

if it says that it means that.
you may have used it for longer, but f.e. switching phones in the wrong way, deleting the Steam app data or just removing it and re-enabling it just for one second in any way will start those 7 days again.
