How do I tell which drive a game is installed to?
Under the old Steam library, I could sort my library by installation drive. I cannot find this feature using the new library. Can someone show me where this sort/search feature is hiding?

Right-click game, properties, local files tab. Says it at the top.

Clunky compared to a sort all but it's there at least.

That's not really a viable option. I have over 200 games installed. Where is the sort tool that we had in the previous Steam client library?

It's gone, sadly.

Well that sucks. I am amazed Valve would make such a terrible mistake!

activate Mutildisk first, steam settings - download , add library folder to other disk, then install 1 game first, locate it, then try make force folder move other games folder to same area, to that new area, to see if this is possible , test with 1 game first, thrn reclick to start it to see if you can avoide reinstall/redownload all again, never done this myself , but why not that will be the right way to do it, if steam allow this. ( or said in other words , maybe steam should allow this force move ).

and then this, where what game is dont matter.

That still won't show which disk it is on in the filters.

have you never browse real world on disk, then it dont matter. ( that was the point, no filter needed it is where it is. i have never move game content around but as you see there is repare library folder also. but point is could be to much a issue , and i bet reinstall to right new place is only option. )

drev whatever to steam lib then ( move each game to whatever disk )
drev whaterver to steam lib then ( move each game to whatever disk )
drev whaterver to steam lib then ( move each game to whatever disk )

then people could move as they see fit, problem is steam and its way to deal with it.

Update: In the beta...

Add Windows drive letter to the "Size on Disk" label shown on installed game portraits.

So, it is coming back soon for everyone.

In the Library tab, sort your "All Games" shelf by "Size on Disk"; it will show you which drive each game is on, at the bottom of each tile.

Not ideal that you can't sort or filter on it, but it did help me find the odd games that weren't installed to the proper drive.

You can always find out which games are installed to any disc simply by browing that disc and going to the steam folder > steamapps > common and then see which ones are listed there
