Games Lagging on New Dell Inspiron 15 7568
I just recently got my hands on a new Dell Inspiron 15 7568 2 in 1 Laptop and I have recently noticed that whenever I would play games, they would be unplayable unless I lowered the resolution, making the game window really small. I previously owned a Dell XPS laptop that is really old, and I can play games fine on that, no lag. I was expecting that this laptop would provide better experience. Any Help???

of course you have to lower the resolution, you system can not handle 4k gaming. it also can not handle a bit more recent games in 1080p. you do not have any form of graphics card in there, your cpu does that duty too.

This suggests that you may need to check for drivers that need updating. I see some pretty new ones here.

I have seen several cases lately where Windows 10 did not take care of this automatically, as that OS is said to do for the user. Make sure they are all up to date.

EDIT..I see some there from June of this year, even.

If you bought that laptop for gaming, you're in for a bad time. Should have bought one with a dedicated videocard.

I, too, own a Dell XPS laptop. Three of them actually. The most recent is from 2008. Here's the thing though: Despite being nearly ten years old, they have better graphics than your new Dell. Your i7-6500U may be a way more powerful CPU than the old Core 2 Duos and Core 2 Extreme I have, but the Intel HD 520 graphics is pretty bad. Combine that with a 4k display (why did they do that?) and you don't get good results.
I have a Dell Inspiron that happens to have Integrated Graphics. It's really not the best for playing games, though there may be a few games you can get "lucky" with. Lowering the resolution can sometimes help, as you've already done.

It probably wouldn't hurt to check for driver updates either, as suggested above by The Giving One.
