Buying Steam Bundles
If I buy a Steam bundle as a gift, and put it in my inventory, will the games individually be there or as a package? I want to buy the Star Wars Collection once the Steam Xmas sale comes around, but I already have a few games in the collection and would like to give them away. Even if I can't in any way give them away, I'm still buying the bundle as it'll still save me a lot of money. Another thing to ask is if Steam sales affect bundles. I don't see why they wouldn't be, but I'm not 100% sure.

They are packed in a bundle, they only appear as individual games after unpacking it!

After you unpack it does it go straight to you library?

With a bundle gift you only have 2 choices, gift it (or trade it later) OR accept it into your own library as a whole. You cannot split the bundle into individual games at all.
Edit: yes, bundles do go on sale but as you cannot wishlist them you need to check regularly on their prices

You activate the bundle and all the game go into your library, yes. It is an all or nothing package.

Check. SOME but NOT ALL bundle offers discount for games you already own. However THOSE bundles CAN'T be given as gifts.

if the blue button next to the price says bundle info, you cannot purchase it as a gift. those are personalized bundes for your account only.

if it says package info, those can be purchased as a gift and by default, every duplicate will be dismissed on activation.
