Help getting unbanned from a community group

I got banned from the payday 2 community for jokingly telling someone who was complaining about the amount of paid dlc to "lmao download a dlc unlocker".

Within five minutes I was banned without a warning or anything.
Isn't this kind of strict?
The worst part is that the community group is needed to access things in the game, so I'm put at a somewhat disadvantage for something taken out of proportion.

If I actually need to use a DLC unlocker because overkill admins cant take a joke I will.

What you were doing was Trolling, and trolling is against Steam rules. What they did was fair, and you just deny the fact that you did wrong.

Eh...isn't that fanbase known for being overly sensitive? Last time I hit up their forums (which was freaking years ago) I noticed a lot of banned profiles :P. I'm not exusing the OP's behavior, just saying it's probably why he got banned in a flash, compared to other game forums where you'd have to troll nonstop before the mods finally had enough.

Only seen huge wave of bans for using SAM (not often anymore) and when they gave away the game for a few days.
