Years of service badge on limited account

Hello, i just found out my very first steam account, it is just 10 years old and i see i only have a 6 years of service badge, unlocked in 2014, no further badges.

I think it should display 10 years of service instead but it might be because my account is limited (need to spend $5).

If so, will i get the 10 year service medal if i spend 5 dollars and unlock the features?

I used to play some Team Fortress 2 on this account 10 years ago, the feels... =(

This, limited accounts cannot earn badges or xp.

Yes, unlimited your account and it will update your years of service badge.

If any money has been added or spent on that other account, use the tool in the pinned thread to see how close you are...........

Spend or add what's left on the account/to the wallet.

However, if you actually purchase the funds, or buy products/games from that account, and that covers the $5 USD, that removes the recent purchase restriction on that other account also, if you plan to use the market with it.

So that takes care of two birds with one stone.

Limited accounts can earn badges, but does not get XP from them.

They are saying they can craft badges by getting cards, but don't get the XP from them. The year of service badge has no bearing on their statement.
