Obscure / Hidden features of Steam
I'm curious - are there any obscure or hidden features of Steam? If so, what are they, and how do you use them?

I guess that in-home streaming (now renamed) could be considered obscure, just as the input mapper or your license activation history.

Pro tip: Take a long thorough walk through the settings. If theres something that can be found, you'll find it this way. Stuff like store preferences is also there, albeit behind a link.

As for "how to use", everything is rather self-explanatory. And if you really insist on explanations, theres a support page for every Steam feature.

Until two years ago, small games needed to pass Steam Greenlight, a community voting about which games were worth to be published on Steam. In June 17, this was substituted by a more direct way of publishing without prior content control.

All links to Greenlight were removed from the Steam interface, but the pages still exist. :-)

These are the some stuff I didn't knew about until I saw them on the forums:

Allows you to activate game key from web browser or phone
https://store.steampowered.com/account/registerkey

Allows you to see all your games that used Steam Cloud, and you can see and manually download files from Steam Cloud
https://store.steampowered.com/account/remotestorage

You can find a lot of info about your account here

at first there were groups, they stayed and got reworked.
then there were official groups, that were simply an other form of groups
and then official groups got reworked into game hubs.

when you "follow a game" you are essentially joining a group.

remnants of the old group pages can still be access and they also provide info that a game hub doesn't
https://steamcommunity.com/games/70/
for some games this /games/ page is deactivated or otherwise inaccessible.

i use the member page to check for the hub moderators.
