By the way, I'm glad people are posting up these threads because it shows people want more control of their profiles, but also help those writing the rules here become educated better to continuously keep up with what's trending and if those found abusing the text color changes then at Valve's discretion, they have the freedom to decide what should be done in a particular situation.

So use it before we lose it.

you aren't going to get banned. the person who mentioned there would be trouble is a forum moderator. not a valve/steam moderator.

an ACTUAL steam moderator said that you wouldn't get banned for it.

it's fine, it won't steal your password, you aren't going to be marked, people are just overreacting and spreading rumors. there is nothing wrong with this.

A steam mod dosen't know what will happen, it's like me saying that you "will" get banned since it's an exploit and is againsted the rules, they know as much as we do and nothing more and if they do know they prob couldn't say.
