Hidden Games not staying hidden in "Just Updated" Tab. Help!

Hi. So I recently bought a steam link for my family which uses big picture mode. When I go to my games, It shows my games, and just updated. In the just updated tab, it shows one of my hidden games I didn't want anyone to see with the 'Install' button. Is there a way to hide this?

the hidden games is just for your local library display.
the updated thing is pulled from web and just considers your ownage of the game since it does not know what you've hidden.

you can remove the game from your account over steam support.

You can return it anytime

From what i know it has not expired date, so its more like a "Super Hidden" category

if you ask support to remove it from your account, you have to purchase the game again.

if you hide it, you have it.

I think wuddih is referring to the removing from the Support page, that i am pretty sure you can also recover later..
Or did i just imagen that exist? (Never used it my self, just heard it around)

yeah, you search for a game and then permanently remove it from your account. except that permanently is not permanently. you can recover it on the same way.

I am aware of that, there is a "Permanent remove from my account" but as much as i know it dose not really completely remove it, as you can recover it later on if you so wish...
That is at least what i remember hearing

I try to test it now, but for some reason i keep getting an error message when trying to use it :/

Not sure abut 1 and 2
But 3 (edit2) is just out of date, remmber that newticket link dose not work, meaning its from before the Support change

The change allows you to remove, and then recover them, its not the same thing

You should uninstall before removing, or you will need to manually remove local content later. In addition, should you repurchase this game in the future, you will not receive a different CD key."



edit: and now i have to buy speedball 2 hd again. (got it in a bundle and never wanted it)

so "remove" means you have to purchase the game again.

Did you do the remove? did you try to search for the game and restore it?

All I wanted to do was remove messages and updates I got from the game :P
