How can I be "untraceable" on Steam ?
Hello, first I am posting from a friend's Steam account to not reveal my real acc. All that I want is to be untraceable on Steam, like no one of my old friends can find me. Long story, got doxxed by some kids and now almost all players of the french community of the game they play (that I stopped playing) (GTA SAN ANDREAS MULTIPLAYER) got it. Now I deleted all friends (even those who are not related to this game or to those guys), changed link, made my profile private, but they found me. I just dont want to talk with them anymore, I am getting DDOSED, they calling my dad when he's sleeping. I wanna definetely change virtual identity. But I don't want to change Steam account, I got more than 10 games on it, level more than 10... If I contact Support, can they do something for that ? Like change my Steam link (the numbers) and delete trade logs ? Really, I was an idiot, I keep'd playing with them, staying with them, it was my fault, I was a f*gg*t but now I wanna change it...

Only 10 games? Start over then if it's such a big deal, it'll be the easiest solution in the long run.

The only way is to create a new account. You can still family share your games to it, so you don't lose anything. Level 10 is quite easy to get back even without spending money and levels on Steam mean nothing anyway.

That's harrassment/stalking and if done constantly something for the police.

make profile private and decline every friend request or make a new steam account.

ddos, change your ip, done.
phone calls, change your phone number and don't get an entry in any database, done.
if someone made posts on Steam with your data, the report button is on every post and on every profile under more.

the account you are talking with here. and that is unchangable for anyone. so if you do not want them to find your profile -> new Steam account.

If you're getting harassed that badly, you need to not be asking us for help, and instead be talking to the police and these people's families to see whether they even know this is being done. The steam account is the least of your worries.

Yeah, Steam does absolutely nothing that would allow harassment like that.

If you feel like it, go to my profile and tell me my phone number, postal address, or any IP address that I've had in the last few days. Doesn't even have to be the "current" one.
