Selling Steam Account
Hey guys I've seen a couple of people who are selling their Steam accounts and i wondered if it was alright. so i began searching answere for my question and sure enough they are violating the steam TOS so i would like to ask you good people can you report this to steam?

report on their profiles

click the "More" button

choose "report violation"

use "spamming advertisements"

tell them the account is being advertised for sale

link to the advertisement(s)

Selling of a Steam account is a violation of the SSA that every user agrees to. If you see it, Valve, us moderators and your fellow gamers would appreciate it if you did report it.

It helps us all in the long run as such actions cause issues for us all. Even the user buying the account could be walking into a scam where the owner re-claims the account and keeps what ever was given for it. There are also people trying to sell stolen accounts, so if it is locked because you reported it, then the original owner may be thankful for your actions.

their was a guy just a couple of minuts ago who said i should just let it be his comments gone though. to make it clear im not the one who's selling a steam account. anyway thanks for you're help people.

I know. I read what he wrote and he is in the wrong. I wanted to clarify that and point out why it is good to report such activity.

I think this system is toxic now, if i will buy game from any gamestore, i can sell it to my friend. I should be able to sell digital games too. Not included the multiplayers. It should be fair to users.

except that any new game that you buy from the gamestore today requires online activation, account activation or anything else that will prevent you from reselling it, even on consoles.

You can sell it to him but all he will get out ofit us a drink coaster. For a very long time now PC games are a single use DR/m tied game whether physical or digital. You are basically buying a physical gift crd for that game and like giftcards or online activation codes, once redeemed theu are useless.
