These statistics are as useless.
Considering
The Sales data are all fake.
Sales data are exaggerated when Valve has to sell a particular game for advertising fee.
It's not believable that a game in 100th place is first in the rankings the next day just because its advertisement appeared on the front page of the store.
There wasn't enough time for the players to do so much shopping.
Don't trust steam stats, they're a sales and promotional tool; which works only thanks to the advertising tax that publishers pay to VALVe.
