What a martinet. Stop scolding players that just want to enjoy their games on the best hardware.
You initially fought that idea. Then later claimed it doesn't matter anyway and emulation is good. Too which I agree with. But it doesn't change the point that we gamble when we discuss it on Steam here specifically.
Every game has a life cycle. Sony is going to let Stellar Blade run its course on their consoles before they give it to PC for another cash grab. Sony's first priority is selling hardware so they want absolutely everyone who wants Stellar Blade to buy it on PlayStation.
Is it any good? I heard some good stuff about this game and want to play it on pc.
It's a solid enough game marred by the extreme jankiness of platforming sections. You'll tumble into that mostly when trying to get collectibles but also in two mandatory places. The only other major annoyance is a specific short section when played at a difficulty higher than easy -- the recommendation for that if you don't have super-human reflexes and luck, is to drop the difficulty for that bit.
If you got the game physically on PS5, you could play it uncensored (as in, original costume designs), but doing so risks a game breaking bug. Alternative costumes were since added that lessened some of the censorship -- made its forced addition even more strange -- and added a lot of QOL improvements.
I played for nearly 200 hours in all.
Maxed everything out (only possible with several NG+ runs) and then made the silly mistake of rolling back to the gold build which is on the PS5 disc. Hit the game breaking bug that prevents progress after defeating a certain boss and permanently screwed up my save. But I had a blast.
