Arch age or Arch age unchained?
im looking for new fantasy MMOs to play and i found 2 of the same variety and both Free to play.
Arch age and Arch age Unchained. from what it looks like Unchained is not a DLC or any type of expansion/continuation but its own game just like Classic Runescape and the new Runscape. though I've only played the Classic my self back when i was a kid *not on steam* so im here now asking which is better between the 2 Arch Age games.
i don't want to ask in those games discussions since they would be bias of the best one. why els would they be playing that one if they didnt think that one was was the best? see what im saying? so im asking here :)

Note, i did play Arch age in the past as well but not the Unchained one but that too was a wile ago and im sure the games changed a lot by now with expansions and updates so another words i would be back to being a noob lol

You could very well ask in the games' boards and get opinions on both and why people play one or the other.

Unchained adds a bit of stuff but requires a subscription if I understand it correctly. Else they are identical.
Both are run by Trion. Which translates into: overmephasize on monetization, horribly broken servers on the edge of crashing and no care about the game at all. (To be fair here, it's because of Gamigo owning Trion now, they themselves were fine).

The real question is how populated they still are. Unless you play with Koreans, I doubt there are much players left on either, the paid version most likely being even worse off.

---

Have you tried EverQuest II or Lord of the Rings Online? Both are fairly old, but are rife with content thanks to it and both still have a healthy population.
Neverwinter Nights is a bit more money hungry, but also fairly good.

If you don't mind paying
Final Fantasy XIV is absolute beast.
Elder Scrolls Online is also great. Technically it's free-to-play, but it feels horribly gimped unless you ignore crafting.
Guild Wars 2. Grindy af if you want best equipment, but also a great game.

Well, neither ArcheAge nor ArcheAge Unchained are run bei Trion Worlds/Gamigo any more, looks like the games have gone back to Kakao Games/XLGames with ArcheAge 2 also being in development and set to release next year.

Anyway, going by recent reviews, it doesn't look like this change has improved much on the monetization side of the game...
