Name one real revolutionary game that is not the last of us.
A boring game is revolutionary? Really?
The AAA industry has been recycling games for years now. Once in a while they come up with something really innovative but that's a rare thing.
If you're looking for creativity focus on indie games, but even then, that's not exactly common.
Doom revived the twitch fps genre and did so further with Eternal.
Breath of the Wild removed a traditional formula and even refined the open-world aspect.
Deep Rock Galactic revived the team-team based horde shooter akin to L4D/L4D 2
Your scope of games is very narrow.
This is more of a friendly reminder for smart people to not waste 80 dollars on the temptations of a shiny skin in a game that is not even given weekly updates.
Remember back in the day MMORPGS used to have GMs that were PAID to MAKE WEEKLY and even DAILY in game events.
that is the name of a documentary series, that was released 2010-2012 and did not debut on Youtube, that's why its probably not that popular, you will find it on there though.
it revolves around music, but it explains why what you describe, even happens .. and happened since forever with all creative content.
give it a watch, the creator also did a followup last year to talk about the same thing, just more up 2 date, i have not seen it yet as it it starting with tiktok put me off a little.
You call that an assumption? It's a fact lol.
Valheim(an indie game) currently has over 60k online. Deep Rock Galactic(an indie game) has thousands online currently. Noita(an indie game) has hundreds online.
Most indie games are one-and-done experiences that won't have a constant playerbase because there is no online element.
Breath of the wild is no where near as good as phantom hourglass.
Nobody cares about twitch basement dwellers and thots
Deep rock galactic is another generic brand survival FPS like left 4 dead
I'm not going to argue with your perspective of what revolutionary is, I mean systematically.
Nobody cares about "Industry Streaming websites"
I mean NEXT GEN ADVANCEMENT IN VIDEO GAME TECH AND ENTERTAINMENT.
Looks interesting ill check it out.
"Twitch fps" has nothing to do with the website...
But thank you for showing this whole tantrum over the industry is just a you thing. I can also tell you haven't played DRG if you think it's just a L4D clone lol.
Good indie games have plenty of players.
Why pay 80 bucks for a game when you can wait a bit and get it on a good sale?
