Your issue is with FP, since Valve can not do anything about Rust.
That being said, this suggestion is not going to happen due to the Devs own stance on the subject.
Talk to FP.
They randomly generate the character when you enter each server and tie it to your SteamID. It wouldn't matter what gender you have listed, they will randomly assign it. They didn't want people to have a choice.
One of the reasons I don't play the game. The other is that you can't run the game locally with out a dedicated server.
Yep, the correct people to talk to about it, though I doubt it will do any good.
Rust is very much the only game I have ever come across that generates a random character for you that you cannot change AT ALL.
No doubt one of the briliiant ideas of the "trust us, we know what we're doing" guys behind it.
Valve won't do anything. If the number of complaints to FP didn't make them change their mind on it, then there really isn't anything anyone out side of the company can do.
