Unable to join game group chat
So I'm having trouble trying to join steam group chat (Dark Soul 3 specificially) . It just kept loading infinitely. Is there any solution or fix for this problem?

follow the game, then you can join the group chat of a game hub.

Alright, so I followed the game, but how do I have access to the game chat? I checked the join steam group chat below the Steam friend list, but It doesn't show the game as a group, and when I found the game via "Followed games", it doesn't have the group chat button

on the game hub, directly next to follow/stop following. dunno where else you are trying to join the group chat

That's the main problem, I can't join it, It kept loading infinitely. It doesn't even show a new window

That's my main problem. The group chat button doesn't work, it just keeps loading infinitely. That's why I created this thread

I just realized that this is not the UI problem but the function problem, my mistake there. Still, the "group chat" link doesn't seem to work and I still need help, so yeah.

Yeah, I don't know what is happening to my Steam Client or to me right now.

Are you signed in to Friends and Chat? You have to be to join other group chats.

@B00MSTICK I had the same issue and yeah I totally forgot I logged out of that 3+ years ago. Thanks for the tip even though it makes me feel really stupid :P

I was having this issue just now, where click "Group Chat" did nothing. I needed to click "Follow" first, then clicking "Group Chat" caused me to join the group chat.

Also needed to be signed into Friends.

Still didn't get "Join a Group Chat" holiday list event though
