It IS grindy AF and gets worse with pretty much every update (as in new things to grind for, not making the experience worse). Normally I wouldn't recommend it for new players because it can get extremely overwhelming. But since you asked for it.
Though it totally does shove microtransactions into your face constantly with "special offers", "flash offers", and whatnot. But you quickly learn to just click them away. You do not need any of them. Ever. The only thing semi-worth it is the season pass. And even that stuff you can get for free later on.
Exactly what i'm looking for, more or less the free to play genres are seas of crap with some spekels of good in them, but knowing what is good and what is bad without a 10+ hour investment is hard.
anyone knows other games that have something worth playing in the sea of crap im all ears.
It's a daft simplistic game made to poke at EA and their loot box bollocks. It's only a few pence to buy and it's strangely compelling.
