This page here will list all accounts your account has shared with. It is like a transaction page that can not be removed.

See it this way: the history page records history. Things that actually happened.

Exactly this.

And by this it means that it can't be changed - this means by you, AND by anyone else.

So you have nothing to worry about.

I know it may not be exscalty what you want but I think you can go here:
https://store.steampowered.com/account/licenses/

And then just search for:
Gift/Guest Pass

You should see games that were given by gifts I think, not completely sure how well this works now, seeing that the old gifting system is not really being used anymore but got no gift from someone with the new system as much as I can recall so cant check if it shows the same

Consider this - it ain't always about you.

There's two things at least you should remember with things like Steam.
(1) Other people might WANT this feature.
(2) Valve might want this feature.

In which case it can be very useful, especially for Valve, as they can then keep track of such things. I could give you examples of why, but I'm sure you get the point.

No ?

1)Im not asking to remove this feature

2)Then let valve keep it and let me hide/perma hide my history

That's fair enough, I guess. Although I do have to ask - is this data readily viewable, or do you have to go looking for it?

I'd say it's the latter in which case, that's kinda moot.

I don't see Family Share history being removable or hidden as it is a record of access to the library.

It is needed to keep tack of who has access, who had access and to see if there has been any unauthorized access.

I would say it is due to security reasons, so if someone gains access to the account and authorizes another account to use the game with out permission, you can see when and what account.

It is also information that Valve keeps on file and I am sure there are law out there that may require them to have a place users to see the information they keep on file at, just like purchase history.

I was thinking at the back of my mind that there also may be legal reasons (like Data Protection) but I wasn't sure, so I didn't mention it.

i know im asking too much for a small feature
but id be happy if they made it a separate tab or allowed you to hide it or hide old ones you have seen (not perma)
or gave a notification option for everytime someone plays your shared game so you can hide history without fear

not a big deal but im little ocd about web history and stuff
ShiroKuro Aug 30, 2020 @ 3:34pm
or atleast hide games i borrowed from someone in my own history not there's (lol)
