Why is Steam so much biased towards VNs?
There are other adult titles on steam, but they just decide to ban Japanese VNs. Why are they so offended by drawings of "too cute to handle girls". They ban loli content. Its a drawing ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. When does Steam become so goody-two-shoes corporation that it needs to massage the egos of SJWs/Snowflakes/Feminists? They say lolis have the anatomy of a child. Even Midgets have that or do Steam wishes to say that midgets are unattractive, those "too cute females with petite body and short height" can't actually represent short-sighted girls when its a fact that dev always write "Every character in this game is above 18 years of age"

Valve simply does not want childporn on their platform.

Plenty of VNs are on Steam. They simply don't want certain archetypes, the ones wuddih refers to, on the platform.

I am a horror fanatic and find lolis appealing. I want to be a visual novel director in future.

Personally I think Steam is doing a good job by upholding some standards and applying rules and boundaries. If you don't like it... well, then there are plenty of other online game outlets which might be able to cater to those wishes. Just don't be surprised if some of those end up ripping you off.

There's plenty of smut out here as well ;)
If Valve are keeping certain VM's off of Steam due standards, rules, and boundaries, then why is there games like this on Steam?

More like legalities. The content the OP is referring to is illegal, regardless of the claimed age of a drawn character.

As Valve said in a statement, they will only remove illegal and trolling content. That game is more satire then anything, so would be allowed.

You've gotta be pretty ****ed up to create something as disgusting as "Coronavirus battlegrounds".

Do people not have any levels of standards anymore? fml...

How retarded must you be to try to profit off of the situation rn

"But the prepubescent looking girl getting speared by MCs meat rod is actually a five thousand year old dragon goddess!"
The publishers have only themselves to blame for trying to skirt Valve's content rules about underaged characters in sexual situations. It's more trouble than it's worth for them as a company and these niche products wouldn't warrant the costs associated with having employees examining these games closely. Just buy them on dlsite instead.
That said, there's absolutely no one at Valve stopping devs and publishers releasing anime erotica games starring hot, mature office ladies, police women, nurses etc. on Steam. Bring them. I need those.

One Angry Gamer has an entire MASTER LIST of anime games/Visual Novels that have been rejected by Steam. So, the Original Poster does have a point. Please use Google to find said Master List yourself: I won't provide a link to it here because just about every page at the One Angry Gamer website, including this Steam Banned Games master list, has some VERY antisemitic replies.

This bring up another point: what if some of Steam's game curators are keeping a bunch of anime games/ Visual Novels off of this platform for the same reason that Sony has been insisting on the censorship of many such titles (young-looking girls in "sexual situations")? I WILL provide a link to a YouTube video that discusses this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I-ensPUnmgA

Childporn
A drawing isn't a child. Never was. Never will be.
But I feel SJWs don't have any reason to accept that logic when they have "Dude trust me" sources and MORALITY to back them up, isn't it

The law says otherwise, so it does not matter what your opinion on the matter is. Valve can not allow such content, BY LAW, regardless of anyone's opinions on the matter.

So first things first, you need to change the law, in the US, if you want such things, because even if another country allows it, Valve has to follow US law and that prohibits receiving and distribution of such material.

I will lock this thread up as there is no point in it.
