I'm really hoping it's reusable like they did on Epic store.

It's a one-time use only.

It tells you it is ONLY for your 1st qualifying purchase. https://imgur.com/a/kGRRCQc

Can you actually stack a few games to reach $25 for $4 off? *price according to my region*

yes, dunno why the other people think the coupon is like an item.

usd: if you purchase stuff for $30 or more, you get $5 deducted from your purchase, once (the banner even mentions for the "first purchase")

It's BS, seriously, if you wanna buy a game that's 29.99$ (basically 30$) the discount isn't applied becuase of that 0.01$ what a load of BS, what a BAIT by Valve. They should have done a proper discount by giving out a coupon of 10bucks like EGS does every few months.

I had it at $30 for $5 last night I see. Today it changed to $25 for $4.

I know it's not perfect but you can search for stuff under $5/5€ and sort by lowest price. Then buy a random cheap trash game or DLC. I see stuff for 0,18€ - 0,35€ ($0.20 - $0.49).

$29.99 + $0.20 = $30,19 => discount will be usable

So after all a $29.99 game would cost you $25,19

Here's the URL you need:
https://store.steampowered.com/search/?sort_by=Price_ASC&maxprice=5

I must say that was a good enough solution to that problem. Thanks.

Apparently it is not that explicit on my side.

Can't complaint much since Steam give lower price on sale than EGS. I learned that it is one time purchasing after trying to purchase on second time. :vvvvvv_verdigris:

It's basically not $30. It's close to $30, but the discount isn't for almost $30. It's for $30 minimum. Wanting to re-write the rules because you suddenly find them inconvenient is pretty quaint.

$29.99, tax put it over $30, didn't count. Got points for the tax, though...guess I should've added $5 worth of games to get for free.

How do you even buy there

Like really

EGS sales give you $10 for each qualifying purchase (around $20-$30) + free games every week. I was hesitant at first being a long time Steam customer, but in the last year I've bought several games on EGS.
