Then I restarted the Steam program. That fix worked for me.
You'll need to go in and toggle it back on, to get all your games to do it again like it used to.
The screenshots - provided you have the UI ENABLED - will always be stored in steam \ userdata \ your number \ 760 \ remote \ game ID number < the folders in there.
Some games additionally save them in their own dumb locations scattered all around your computer folder system.
But if you've got Steam's UI on, and have not changed the F12 feature to something else, they will be stored there regardless of whether the popup to upload them shows up after you exit the game. There are two separate click boxes now, the UI enable and the Screenshot window on exit.
