Een vertaalprobleem melden
that is clearly a complaint to the parcel service itself. they are the ones making this problematic. call a human, they have to have one. it is basically law in europe.
if not, go to the police, suspect your goods to be stolen by the parcel company .. which they probably have done anyway.
That's quite an assumption to make. One migh even be inlined to call it lible.
You cannot contact a human from GLS, and the police won't care about such complaint because this is not a penal infraction (crime). They will take your complaint of course (because they are forced to by law) but then nothing will happen because they don't have enough ressources to deal with civil infractions.
And btw... GLS operates here in Germany aswell and I recieved more than a dozen packets with them, never with any consequences... Got a lot of worse experiences with DHL or UPS.
European law, same for you as for me. They need to check it and take actions because of your situation... But if you're too lazy to go to the police, it's your own fault.
No, I know because I already have left a complaint to the police for similar case in the past (it was even more serious case) and nothing was done. They don't have time to deal with that, at least not in my country. If you ask advices for similar cases in forums dealing with law, people will most of the time discourage you to even try to leave a complaint because you may just get laughed at. There is a reason why such companies can continue their business despite having the crapiest business practices. This is far (faaar) down in the priority list of the police unfortunately, due to lack of ressources.
I was confirmed they haven't even tried to deliver my package, and even returned it to valve as soon as it was scanned at arrival of the final warehouse because they are overhelmed. So if you have any urgent order to place in France you may try another transporter for the moment.
I can guarantee you, it has little to no reflection of the actual busines or service, not when most of the times it is used as virtual punching bag for entitled Karens demanding to see the manager.
However, on trustpilot someone left today a positive evaluation, saying they received it in two days. And it was apparently a Valve Index too.
I'm working first half of the week, so I hope I won't miss it...
(Note: I also received my new GPU Tuesday via Chronopost, which I ordered on the Nvidia store friday night. It's the first time they called me for a delivery, and they accepted to leave it to my neighbour. The kind but stupid soul then left it in front of my appartment door...)
It is the seller's responsibility. The carrier is seller's client. Here GLS is Valve's client. You have to see with the seller, your not supposed to deal with the transporter.
Also yeah I had big problems with GLS too. They basically mark shipments as "delivered" when they never came to the house of the recipient.
