You can set your country to any of the list. There are also accounts "situated" in Antarctica and whole bunch claiming to be from Niger, because apparently that's edgy or funny.
I really thought that some people are actually from north korea and somehow bypassed the north korean Firewall
Which is why Steam is superior to Epic Games Store - because they don't have forums where you can cut and paste the same topics throughout the day AND reply to threads where most of the original posters are probably now deceased from the passing of time.
My friend's mum told me that Valve are considering adding an autolock timer to threads in the next 30 years or so when they get around to it.
She works there so she must know.
I recall there are a few other countries that might be on that list as well. Sort of thing where service is not offered.
Yeah but claiming to be FROM a country doesn't mean they still live there and doesn't mean they are playing there either.
There probably may be a situation like China, where anyone in the higher echelons of the government get special privileges (or do what they want within reason) and are able to do this.
But I doubt that's going to be the case for a fairly normal generic profile.
but instead "wow, I bet they don't have overheating problems on their PC"?
I'd be more concerned about my PC freezing.
I mean wasn't he busy doing other things?
I should stop asking questions if i want to keep my steam account...
